Alexander Bedenkov

Alexander Bedenkov is an experienced medical executive with a robust background in global medical affairs and biopharmaceuticals. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Evidence for BioPharmaceuticals Medical at AstraZeneca, Alexander also leads the Global Health Innovation Hubs Network (A.Catalyst). Previously, Alexander held positions at Abbott as Global Medical Director for Strategic Medical Affairs and Medical Director for the APAC region. Additional experience includes medical director roles in Russia, Ukraine, and the CIS region with MSD, as well as a leadership position in medical affairs at Schering-Plough Research Institute. Alexander began the career in clinical research at inVentiv Health. Alexander earned a Doctor of Medicine degree and a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from Smolensk State Medical Academy.
