Sudip Mondal

Sudip Mondal is an experienced engineering professional, currently leading the Hardware & System Engineering team at Ather Energy since January 2020. Previously, Sudip served as General Manager of System Engineering, focusing on problem-solving, and held a role in Technology Leadership at SmartMotes IoT Solutions, where responsibilities included architecting and implementing connectivity solutions for diverse devices. Prior experience includes a position as a Touch Hardware Engineer at Apple, where collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders ensured successful touchscreen module development, and a tenure at Cypress Semiconductor that involved systems engineering and product development for automotive applications. Sudip holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a dual degree (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
