Nicole Trimbey

Nicole Trimbey, CISSP, has over 13 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Nicole is currently working at ATI as the Director of Cybersecurity Operations since June 2020. Previously, Nicole held various roles at the United States Steel Corporation, including Director of Cybersecurity Operations from May 2017 to June 2020, Manager of Information Security - Cybersecurity Operations from April 2014 to May 2017, Supervisor of the Cybersecurity Team from October 2013 to April 2014, and Senior Information Security Analyst - Cybersecurity Team from August 2010 to October 2013. Prior to their time at United States Steel Corporation, Nicole worked as an Operations Analyst in the Network Operations Center from January 2008 to August 2010. Nicole began their career as a Co-Op in the Operations Analyst role in the Network Operations Center from January 2007 to December 2007. Throughout their career, Nicole has been responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, managing incident responses, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure the security of critical systems.

Nicole Trimbey, CISSP, holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Security and Assurance from Robert Morris University. Nicole also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Network Administration from the same institution. In addition to their degrees, Nicole has earned several certifications including CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from ISC2, as well as certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CSSA (Certified SCADA Security Architect), CPT (Certified Penetration Tester), and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) from various institutions.
