Christina Salmo, Ed.D., serves as the Dean of Literacy at Atlas Public Schools since July 2025 and holds multiple roles including Co-Chair of the Alumni Advisory Board for Teach For America St. Louis and Instructional Leadership Fellow at The Opportunity Trust, both since July 2024. Christina's experience includes working as an Instructional Coach and Reading Interventionist at KIPP St. Louis, where initiatives focused on supporting new teachers and developing reading programs for students. Previous roles encompass teaching as a Lead Teacher at KIPP Public Schools Northern California, facilitating content sessions for Teach For America, and teaching Kindergarten and 1st Grade at Saint Louis Public Schools. Christina's academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Teacher Leadership from Maryville University of Saint Louis and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
