Chris McRobbie has extensive experience in the design and innovation field. Chris is currently the Director of Design & Founding Partner at Atmospheric, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were the VP of Product & Design at LOOKOUT, where they developed an AR camera system for marine navigation. Chris also founded Chris McRobbie Design Ltd in 2000, where they served as Creative Director & Product Innovation Design Strategist, working with global brands and advertising agencies. Additionally, Chris has worked as a Faculty & Co-Founder at SuperSight.org, a Senior Interaction Design Strategist at Mesmerise, and a Branding Innovation Design Strategist Consultant at Diageo and Campari Group. Chris has also held roles as a Marketing & Branding Design Director Consultant at OTRO and as a Product Designer & Creative Director Consultant at Ambient Devices.
Chris McRobbie attended Syracuse University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a BFA in Fine Arts.
