Ethan Becker

Ethan Becker is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Engineer at Atom Computing since September 2024, Ethan previously held the position of Principal Optical Systems Engineer at Fathom Radiant from August 2021 to July 2024. Prior to that, Ethan was the Director of Engineering at BridgeComm, Inc., where a range of roles including Lead Systems Engineer and Product Engineer were undertaken from January 2019 to August 2021. Ethan's career also includes work as a Systems Engineer at United Launch Alliance from January 2017 to January 2019, and a Senior Software Technical Intern at Siemens Power Technologies International in mid-2016. Earlier research experiences include roles at the RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science and NTT R&D, along with a Research Assistant position at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Nanotechnology Center. Ethan holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from UW-Platteville.
