John Clarke

John Clarke has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. John started their career in 2004 as a Junior Engineer at CuTS Ltd. From 2006 to 2016, they served as a Company Director & Founder at Coffeesh0p.com, where they successfully built and managed the business.

In 2012, John worked as a Freelance Web Developer at Ewe-ser Friendly, specializing in ecommerce and Magento development. John was responsible for delivering complete solutions to clients, including domain name registration, design/development, hosting, maintenance, modifications, and ongoing marketing.

From 2016 to 2021, John worked at NewsNow.co.uk, where they held various roles. John started as a Web Developer and gradually progressed to Full Stack Developer, Senior Full Stack Developer, and finally Commercial Tech Lead. In their role as the Commercial Tech Lead, they were responsible for ad tech, including JavaScript development, interaction with ad APIs, and managing split tests to boost revenue. John also worked on the main website using Vue.js and Perl.

In 2021, John joined Reach plc as a Senior Software Engineer. Then, in 2022, they transitioned to Atom Learning as a Lead Software Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Software Engineering Manager at Atom Learning, starting in May 2023.
