Fran Burgess

Fran Burgess is an experienced professional in metallurgy and mineral processing, currently serving as Manager Process at Ausenco since November 2022 and holding dual roles as Principal Consultant and Managing Director at Firefly Consulting Services since December 2019. Previous roles include General Manager Processing NQ for Zinc Assets Australia at Glencore Zinc, General Manager of Projects & Group Metallurgy at Perilya Ltd, and various leadership positions within MMG Ltd and OZ Minerals, among others. Fran's educational background includes an MBA from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, a Bachelor of Applied Economics from the University of South Australia, and a BSc Tech in Mineral Processing from UNSW.
