Sherry Lawdermilt

Sherry Lawdermilt currently serves as the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Austin Peay State University, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sherry was the Chief Information Officer at Bemidji State University from March 2020 to June 2023. Sherry’s career in higher education technology includes significant positions at the University of North Dakota, where roles included Director of Applications and Integration Support and Director of Administrative Services Technology from August 2013 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Programmer Analyst for the City of Grand Forks from September 1997 to August 2013 and serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Supply Clerk from September 1988 to October 1995. Sherry's educational background includes a PhD in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Dakota, an MBA from Park University, a Bachelor’s in Management/Computer Information Systems from Park University, and an Associate degree in Computer Programming from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
