Lennart Schmidt was born on 4 May 1985 in Peine, Germany. After studying economics at Leibniz University Hannover, he started his career at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg, where he worked from 2010 to 2016, first as a national and later as an international investor relations officer. He then went to Beijing in China for four years, where he was responsible for investor relations for the Volkswagen Group in the Asia-Pacific region. In 2019, he joined SEAT SA in Barcelona, Spain, as Head of Digital Finance. In January 2022, he took up the position of Vice President Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury at AUTODOC. In January 2023, he was promoted to CFO. On 01 October 2023, he joined the company's Management Board as CFO
