Alex Botos

Alex Botos is a Senior Field Application Scientist at Automata since March 2023, providing technical support for automated laboratory solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Application Scientist at LGC, Biosearch Technologies from February 2021 to February 2023, where support was provided to customers in Molecular Diagnostics and Agricultural Biology. From August 2013 to February 2021, Alex held multiple roles at Cell Guidance Systems, culminating as a Senior Research Scientist, focusing on research coordination, product development, and laboratory management. Previous roles also include Research Scientist and Research Assistant, with a foundational research background at the Department of Pathology, University of Cambridge. Alex holds a Master of Science in Cancer Biology from the University of Kent and a Bachelor of Science in Biosciences from Canterbury Christ Church University.
