Paul Mayne

Paul Mayne serves as the Head of Day One at Automattic, Inc., since June 2021, following the acquisition of Day One, a journaling app Paul founded while serving as CEO of Bloom Built, Inc. from January 2010 to June 2021. Prior to that, Mayne held positions including Senior Visual Designer at Move Networks, where responsibilities included user experience design for streaming media applications, and Interactive Art Director at Richter7, focusing on rich media interfaces. Early in his career, Mayne worked as an Interactive Designer for the LDS Church and as a Web Developer at Mstar. Educational background includes a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Utah and an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting from Salt Lake Community College.
