Tom Farmer

Tom Farmer currently serves as the Sr. Director of Total Rewards at AvePoint, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Tom had a 15-year tenure at Northern Trust Corporation, progressing from Compensation Analyst to Global Compensation Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing compensation plans for a global workforce of over 19,000 employees. Throughout this time, Tom led teams in the design and governance of compensation strategies, ensuring competitiveness to attract top talent. Earlier experience includes work as a Communications Specialist for Chicago 2016, managing speaker events and media coverage for Olympic-related activities. Tom holds a degree in Management and Strategy, Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science from Miami University.
