Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is an experienced IT Security Engineer with a strong background in server and network security management. Currently employed at Avista since March 2013, previous positions include IT Security Engineer at Sterling Savings Bank from June 2011 to March 2013, and IT Systems Analyst Sr. at General Dynamics C4 Systems from January 2005 to June 2011, where responsibilities included project management and leading server and workstation teams. Brian also served as a Workplace Technology Trainer at Humanix from June 2003 to January 2005. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University, completed between 1996 and 2003.
