Girish Joag

Girish Joag has been working in the engineering and software development fields since 1996. Girish began their career at Unnit Solutions as a Software Developer before moving to Oracle (formerly Citicorp IT) as an Associate in 1997. In 1999, they joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Architect/Project Manager. In 2007, they moved to Symantec as a Senior Manager - Engineering and in 2015 they became the Director of Engineering at Avocado Systems Inc.

Girish Joag started their educational journey at Kataria High-school. Girish then completed a Diploma in Engineering at Bharati Vidyapeeth from 1989 to 1992. After that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1992 to 1995. In 1997, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from C-DAC Pune. In 2012, they obtained an Executive General Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in Business Administration and General Management. Girish also obtained certifications in R Programming and Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
