Andy Caunce is an experienced project and operations manager currently serving as the Principal Project Manager at Avove Utilities since November 2023. Previously, Andy held the position of Head of Operations at Velocity Composites plc from October 2022 to November 2023. During a significant tenure at United Utilities from September 2014 to October 2022, Andy advanced through roles including Operations Delivery Manager, Monitoring and Control Manager, and Area Operations Manager, overseeing the delivery of safe drinking water to around 2 million households and leading a team of approximately 120 employees. Andy's earlier experience includes various managerial roles at BAE Systems from August 1997 to September 2014, focusing on quality management and manufacturing operations. Educational qualifications include Bachelor's Degrees in Quality Management and Operations Management from Lancaster University, along with a CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources Management and a Prince2 Practitioner certification in Project Management.
