Joe Turner has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Joe started their career as a Graduate Placement at Threadneedle Investments in 2006. Joe then worked as an FX Trading at Bear Stearns & Co. from 2007 to 2009. Joe joined Deutsche Bank in 2009 and held various roles including FX and Derivatives Funding - XVA Trading until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Investec Australia as a FICC Execution & Structuring. Joe then returned to Deutsche Bank from 2016 to 2019, where they worked as an AUD and NZD Cross Currency Trader and NZD Swaps and NZGB Trader. In 2020, they joined Commonwealth Bank as a Director - FX Forwards and Rates Trader and then moved to Aware Super in 2023 as an Associate Portfolio Manager.
Joe Turner attended the University of Portsmouth from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Economics and Econometrics.
