Kenneth Lai began their work experience with Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2008, starting as a Strategic Assistant to the CEO, Greater China and Southeast Asia. Kenneth then held various managerial positions within the company, including Underwriting Quality & Governance Manager, Asia Pacific and Senior Manager in the Personal and Commercial Division. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Distribution Services and later as the Head of Operations Service. In 2020, they joined AXA Hong Kong and Macau, initially as the Head of Retail, then later became the P&C Distribution Director. Currently, Kenneth Lai holds the role of Chief General Insurance Officer at AXA Hong Kong and Macau, starting in December 2021.
Kenneth Lai completed their Bachelor of Science degree with First Class Honours in Earth Sciences from The University of Hong Kong from 2002 to 2006. Kenneth then pursued a Master's degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Deakin University between 2009 and 2011. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Kenneth Lai earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HKUST.
