Ahmed ElAshmawy is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Technical Director and Consulting Practice Lead at Axenic Ltd since September 2020, Ahmed previously held positions including Group Information Security Manager at Meridian Energy and Principal Consultant at Axenic Ltd. With a strong background in developing information security policies and managing internal risks, Ahmed has also contributed to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority as a Principal Information Security Consultant. Expertise spans across risk management, governance, and training strategies, further illustrated by leadership roles at Digital Risk Intelligence and ictQATAR/Q-CERT. Ahmed holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and an MSC in Engineering from recognized academic institutions.
