Caitlin Kestermann

Caitlin Kestermann is an experienced professional in executive assistance and event management, currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Founders at Axios since January 2023, where responsibilities include managing schedules and overseeing high-impact projects. Previously, Caitlin led significant fundraising events as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Friends of the American University of Afghanistan, achieving record-breaking results. Additional experience includes consulting for the U.S. Overseas Cooperative Development Council and DAI, managing multi-day events and workshops, as well as serving as Manager of Special Events at POLITICO, where Caitlin enhanced stakeholder engagement through marquee events. Earlier roles included an Office/Events Coordinator position at the UAE Embassy and teaching at Cornerstone Schools of Washington DC, where Caitlin significantly advanced student performance. Caitlin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Art from Marymount University.
