Mark Friedman

Mark Friedman PhD has a diverse work experience in the biotech and medical device industry. Mark currently holds the position of VP, Biologics & Policy at axogen since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the VP, RA&Policy at axogen from March 2021 to April 2022. Mark'searlier experience at axogen includes the role of VP, RA&QA from September 2006 to March 2021.

In addition, Mark Friedman has worked as the President of MM&A Consulting, LLC since 2010. Mark was a Consultant at Minimally Invasive Devices from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they held various roles at AtriCure, Inc. from 2000 to 2006. Mark also served as the VP QA&RA at Enable Medical/AtriCure from 1995 to 2003, and as the VP of Quality and Regulatory at Enable Medical Corporation from 1996 to 2000.

Mark Friedman PhD completed their education in Chemistry with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Centre College, from 1976 to 1980. Mark then pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati, specializing in Chemistry-Protein, and obtained a Ph.D. degree from 1980 to 1986. In addition to their educational background, they also obtained certification as a RAPS Member from the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program in September 1991.
