Oscar G. Shelly, MBA has extensive experience in leadership roles within the oil and gas industry. Oscar currently serves as the Vice Chairman & Treasurer of the IADC LATAM Chapter and previously held the position of Vice President of International Sales at Axon Energy Services. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of International Sales at Axon Energy and as the VP of Sales at Kerui Group US LLC. Oscar also has experience as the CEO of Oil & Gas Consulting Services, SA de CV and as the Vice President of Sales at Oil & Gas Consulting Services, SA. Additionally, they held the role of Vice President of Business Development at CompMaster LLC. Notably, Oscar spent several years at National Oilwell Varco, where they served as the Director of BOPs & Control Units Sales Latin America & Canada, as well as the Land Drilling Rigs Sales Venezuela. Oscar began their career as a Regional Field Service Manager Latin America at Dresser-Rand.
Oscar G. Shelly, MBA has a diverse education history. Oscar obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree and an MBA from the University of Devry - Keller Management School, with a focus on Geological Engineering. Oscar later pursued a Postgraduate Program in Leadership and Coaching at Purdue University. Additionally, they earned an MBA in Project Management and International Business from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Lastly, they completed their undergraduate studies in Geological Engineering at Facultad de Ingenieria UNAM.

Since being acquired by Pelican Energy Partners in late 2018, AXON Pressure Products has re-emerged as AXON Energy Services. We have a new management team, a new mission and vision for our business and our customers. In direct response to industry requirements, the XBOP cost-effectively allows for added shearing capability, without the expected height and weight increase. And, even though the unique, staggered design is significantly more compact, the components used are AXON’s industry-proven Type 50 BOP and especially useful in coiled tubing & operations with a tight fit. We have have been successfully providing customers with the legacy Type 80 closing unit as part of our BOP control line of products for over 40 years. AXON’s proven flow control products are in use in drilling operations globally, and we are continually expanding our comprehensive reach with well-made, proven products, exceptional aftermarket support and customer service.
