Rachelle Nieto is a bilingual professional with a diverse background in legal advocacy, immigration services, and customer relations. Currently serving as a Bilingual Case Manager at Ayuda since January 2023, Rachelle previously worked as a Legal Advocate at HopeWorks of Howard County and completed an internship as an Immigration Attorney Intern at Catholic Charities WV, where responsibilities included assisting with immigration paperwork and translations. Rachelle's early career involved roles as a Brand Representative at Hollister Co. and a Gallery Assistant at the WVU Art Museum, as well as experience as a Receptionist at the Fishkin Center for Back & Body Wellness, focusing on patient communications and administrative duties. Rachelle holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Women’s Studies from West Virginia University.

Ayuda is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing direct legal and social services, education, and outreach to low-income immigrants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Through its offices in Takoma, DC and Falls Church, VA, Ayuda has amassed a 40-year history of providing critical services on a wide range of issues, and in the process, has acquired nationally recognized expertise in immigration law, domestic violence and human trafficking, among other fields. We have 50+ full-time, bi-lingual attorneys and social workers/case managers providing legal, social, and language access services and we have assisted immigrants in more than 100,000 cases and counting.
