Nazim Huseynov began their work experience in 1985 as a Meteorologist at Azerbaijan Airlines. Nazim later became the Head of Department at the same company. In 2009, they joined the Hydrometeorological and Climate Change Consalting Center as the Head of Consulting. In 2009, they also started working at the National Aviation Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a Teaching Professional. Later, they became the Head of Department at the academy.
From 1978 to 1983, Nazim Huseynov attended the Russian State Hydrometeorological University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineer Meteorological.
