Matanat Babayeva

Matanat Babayeva has extensive experience in human resources management, currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Azerconnect Group since August 2017. Previously, Matanat held the position of Senior Director for the Human Resources Division at Nar (Azerfon) from July 2012 to August 2017, where responsibility included leading the HR team and shaping the company’s HR strategy. Prior to that role, Matanat worked as the Director of the Human Resources Department at NORM LLC. in early 2012, focusing on organizational planning and talent management. Matanat's career also spans significant roles at TeliaSonera and its subsidiary Fintur Holdings, as well as managerial positions at Moldcell and Azercell. In terms of education, Matanat has obtained a Master of Business Administration from IE Business School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and French from Azerbaijan State University of Languages, alongside certifications in Human Resources Management from HRCI and SHRM.
