Healthcare Reporting Analyst

What You'll Do:

• In-depth multifaceted analysis for clients combining a multitude of healthcare data types and sources
• Perform in-depth ad-hoc analysis to support all departments throughout the organization
• Identify and investigate new technologies, prototype and test solutions for product features, and validate designs that deliver an exceptional user experience
• Effectively communicate complex technical results through data visualization

Notches In Your Belt:

• BS/BA in health care administration, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or similar degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• HEDIS Methodology
• Gaps in care for chronic conditions
• Understanding of key managed care concepts and terms (e.g. PMPM, CPT, ICD coding, HCPCS, DRG, etc…)
• Understanding of data structure/integration and relational database design
• 5 years of experience working in the capacity of a data analyst; with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with healthcare data specifically.
• Experience with building reports, analyzing results, and communicating findings
• Expert ability to breakdown and clearly define problems
• Experience combining analytic methods with advanced data visualizations/BI tools, specifically through Periscope
• Ability to write SQL code, extract data and generate queries/reports without guidance, integrating data when necessary between different data sources
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and strong ability to communicate highly technical results to a diverse audience
• Passionate about asking and answering questions in large datasets, and are able to communicate that passion to product managers and engineers
• Strong desire to work in a close team/collaborative setting
• Be capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
• Be flexible, dependable, and resourceful
• Have a desire to innovate and improve medical care

• Experience with analytics, and associated tools to assess customer usage, traffic, conversion, A-B testing (Ex: MixPanel)
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA & product management software (Ex: Advanced Roadmaps, ProdPad, etc)
• Passionate about changing the way Consumers interact with the healthcare industry
