Tak Tsubota

Tak Tsubota is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mobile application development and software engineering. Currently serving as a Lead Principal Mobile Engineer and US Mobile Chapter Lead at Backbase since December 2019, Tsubota has held various roles, including Principal and Senior iOS Engineer. Prior to Backbase, Tsubota worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Aavri and founded Beachside Coders LLC, a software development studio. Experience includes significant contributions at Robots and Rockets as a Lead iOS App Developer and leadership roles at FileMaker, Inc. and Claris Corporation, where Tsubota directed efforts to innovate software capabilities and improve product roadmaps. Tsubota holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine.
