Arun Nair is an experienced maritime professional with a notable career in shipbuilding and fleet management. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager of the New Building Department at Bahri Shipping since September 2011, Arun has also held the position of Senior Superintendent and Chief Engineer for VLCCs. Prior experience includes working as an Owners Inspector for shipbuilding projects at Valles Steamships in Canada and serving as Fleet Chief Engineer for Shell International Trading and Shipping Company. With earlier roles encompassing operational and management-level engineering, Arun's career began as a Marine Engineer at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. Arun holds a B-Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum and completed secondary education at Sacred Heart, Changanacherry.
