Thane Schaffer

Thane Schaffer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Executive - Service Director OIC Global Service Delivery at Baker Hughes since October 2016, focusing on operational alignment between the Global Chemicals Product line and Regional stakeholders. Prior roles include various director-level positions at Halliburton from October 2008 to October 2016, where responsibilities included leading global business development and marketing and managing integration efforts during the Halliburton and Baker acquisition. Thane's earlier experience includes managerial positions at BJ Services and Baker Petrolite, as well as a role as a Field Operator at Fletcher Challenge Petroleum. Thane holds a C.E.T. in Petroleum Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and completed executive development programs at Texas A&M University, focusing on leadership and business management.
