James Hancock

James Hancock is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in tax administration and reporting. Currently serving as the Director of Tax Administration and Reporting at Ball Corporation since February 2018, Hancock previously held the position of Director of Domestic Tax at Valspar from January 2016 to February 2018. Prior to that, a Senior Tax Manager role was undertaken at Cargill from March 2013 to December 2015, and a Senior Manager position was held at Ernst & Young from April 2008 to March 2013. Hancock began a career in tax at PwC, working as a Tax Manager from June 2001 to April 2008. Educational credentials include a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both obtained from The University of Texas at Austin between 1997 and 2001.
