Alex Kartman

Alex Kartman is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Director of Ball State Sports Link and the Director of Sports Production at Ball State University since 2009. In this dual role, Alex instructs and mentors aspiring sports media students while overseeing fully student-produced broadcasts of Ball State Sports on ESPN3. Alex has a diverse background as a freelance Technical Director for major networks including NBA regional television, CBS Sports, and ESPN, as well as contributing to web streams of NCAA championships. Previous roles include Story Producer and Researcher for Fox Sports Indiana's "Hoosier Legends," and Social Content Producer for NCAA March Madness. Alex holds a Master's degree in Digital Storytelling and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University.
