Shantanu Suman

Shantanu Suman is an accomplished graphic design professional with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Ball State University since August 2016, Shantanu previously held the position of Assistant Professor in the same department. In addition, Shantanu acts as a Faculty Mentor at Studio165plus and was a Partner/Creative Director at Open Door Design Studio from 2013 to 2023. Prior to these roles, Shantanu served as an Instructor of Record at the University of Florida and held various senior positions in advertising, including Sr. Art Director at Publicis Advertising in Mumbai and McCann Erickson in New Delhi. Shantanu's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Graphic Design from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Apeejay Institute of Design in New Delhi.
