Jon Vickers

Jon Vickers is a seasoned professional in the field of imaging and vision technology, currently serving as a Vision Expert at Balluff EMEA since October 2023 and at MATRIX VISION GmbH since January 2022, focusing on technical sales across Denmark, Ireland, and the UK. Previously, Vickers held the role of Technical Manager at Balluff Limited from February 2021 to January 2022, where responsibilities included managing a team and overseeing vision sales in Northern Europe. Vickers also spent over 17 years at Stemmer Imaging Limited, initially as Technical Support and later as Technical Manager/Product Manager, leading a team in pre-sales and post-sales support. Academically, Vickers earned a PhD in Medical Image Analysis from Coventry University and a BSc (Hons) in Astrophysics from Keele University.
