Adrian Boveda is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Global Data CIO for Banco Santander CIB since March 2011. In this role, Adrian is responsible for defining and implementing the new Data Platform strategy on a global scale. Previously, Adrian held positions in Banco Santander, including IT Director for Finance CIO at CIB, overseeing key technology projects, and T&O Market Risk, where responsibilities included business plan management in Technology and Operations for wholesale risk. Prior to Banco Santander, Adrian worked at everis as a Banking Manager, leading transformation projects in Global Banking & Markets, and at Abbey as a Murex Consultant. Adrian holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from Universidade de Vigo, completed in 2003.
