Since joining Banco Santander in October 2009, Bart has held several senior leadership positions, including Head of Global Transactional Banking Europe and Managing Director of GTB Continental Europe. Bart's mandate includes the establishment of a comprehensive GTB organization across several key European markets and achieving a targeted 20% annual growth over the next three years. Prior to Santander, Bart served as Head of Commodity Finance EMEA at the Royal Bank of Scotland and held various significant roles at ABNAMRO Bank N.V., culminating as Global Head of Commodity Finance. Bart holds an MSc in Business Administration and Environmental Technology from Wageningen University & Research.
