Balasubramanian Sankaran

Balasubramanian Sankaran is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in trade finance, cash management, and relationship banking. Currently serving as Executive Director at First Abu Dhabi Bank since January 2018, Balasubramanian previously held the position of Director of Trade Sales for Wholesale Clients at National Bank of Abu Dhabi from March 2014 to January 2018. Prior to that, Balasubramanian worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in various roles, including Vice President for Transaction Services Origination, where responsibilities encompassed cash management and trade finance origination in the Middle East. Earlier experience includes significant roles at ABN AMRO Bank and Deutsche Bank, focusing on sales and financial control. Balasubramanian holds an MBA in Finance from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University.
