Kevin Chowings is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and business management within the banking sector. Currently serving as Managing Director of Sustainability & ESG Implementation at Barclays since August 2022, Kevin focuses on executing the bank's climate strategy. Previously, Kevin held key roles at NatWest Group, including Head of NatWest Future Mobility Group, where efforts were directed at aligning sustainability with business growth, and Chief of Staff for Corporates & Institutions, where strategic initiatives led to significant cost reductions. With a solid foundation in management roles at Royal Bank of Scotland and various positions in earlier firms, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in business strategy, operating model design, and financial innovation. Kevin holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
