Liz Padley

Liz Padley currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Capital and Leverage Management at Barclays, a position held since October 2024. Prior experience includes a Managing Director role at Lloyds Banking Group from November 2017 to October 2024, overseeing capital markets, debt investor relations, and regulatory engagement, as well as serving as Treasurer for multiple entities within the group. Previous positions include Senior Manager in Risk Consulting at PwC and Financial Services Senior Manager at Deloitte, where key responsibilities involved leading advisory teams. Liz co-founded Alpine Holiday Services, an enterprise offering holiday homes in Switzerland, and began a career in finance as an Equity Derivatives Trader at Goldman Sachs. Liz holds both a Master of Arts (MA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, alongside an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Geneva.
