Philippe Emprin has extensive work experience in various procurement and purchasing roles. Philippe started their career at IFF in 1989 as a Purchasing Manager and later worked at Fould Springer as a Logistic & Purchasing Manager. In 1999, they joined Lesaffre as a Purchasing Coordinator and subsequently became the Procurement Director at Groupe Barrière in 2001. In addition, they are currently serving as a board member at ADRA - Association des Directeurs & des Responsables Achats since 2020.

Philippe Emprin attended the Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) from 1983 to 1985, where they earned a degree in Industries Agro Alimentaires. From 1985 to 1988, they studied at ENSBANA and obtained a degree in Food Technology. In 1988, they briefly attended Kyoto University's Institute for Chemical Research.
