Vishnu Dantu

Vishnu Dantu, M.D. is currently serving as a Neurology Resident Physician at Barrow Neurological Institute since June 2023. Prior experience includes founding and serving as CEO of Predictive Optics, which focused on developing an affordable screening tool for cerebrovascular health, and receiving the 2018 Rhode Island Business Competition MedTech/Life Science Award. Vishnu participated in Brown's Breakthrough Labs Startup Accelerator in 2017. Academic research experience encompasses various roles, including the invention of a novel imaging system for blood flow monitoring at Brown University, research in biophysical live-blood analysis, and work in protein engineering and regenerative cardiovascular medicine. Vishnu earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University (2019-2023) and a Sc.B. in Applied Math & Biology as part of the Program in Liberal Medical Education at Brown University (2015-2019).
