Sherri Jernigan is an experienced educator and coordinator with a diverse background in teaching and professional development. Currently, Sherri serves as the host of the Pretty Strong Podcast, celebrating the strength and resilience of women. Sherri holds positions as an adjunct instructor at Barton College and as a volunteer with North Carolina State University's Free Moms program. Previously, Sherri spent nearly 30 years with Wilson County Schools, where responsibilities included managing the Beginning Teacher Support Program, conducting professional development, and facilitating STEAM education for elementary students. Sherri has also contributed to NC State University as an Engineering Camp Instructor and has a Master's degree in School Administration from East Carolina University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Meredith College.
