Scott Read

Scott Read is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the material handling and automation industry. Since August 2018, Scott has served as the Director of Engineering at Bastian Solutions, leading the Solution Delivery Project Engineering department and managing projects that range from $10 million to over $70 million. Prior roles include Systems Engineering Manager at Bastian Solutions, where Scott led a team in the development of material handling systems, and Senior Director of Concepting and Engineering at Peach State Integrated Technologies, focusing on engineering support for sales and project implementation. Scott began a career at Bastian Material Handling, progressing from Project Manager to Design Engineer, and previously worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Eisenmann Corporation. Scott holds an MBA in Operations Management from Ball State University and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
