Erica Classing

Erica Classing is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience at Battelle, serving as Vice President and Controller since June 2005. With a background in program finance, Erica manages a team of 11 finance professionals, advising the Health Business Unit leadership on financial strategies, monitoring budgets, and enhancing profitability while ensuring compliance with various regulations. Prior roles include Manager of Government Accounting and Manager of Financial Support, where Erica facilitated effective relationships with government agencies and produced financial forecasts. Earlier experience at Ohio State University Research Foundation involved managing billing and reporting for health and human services research grants. Erica holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Shawnee State University and has previously attended Malone University.
