Tanya Maslak

Tanya Maslak is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public health, environmental management, and sustainable development. Currently serving as the NEON Engagement Lead at Battelle since June 2016, Tanya specializes in a diverse array of topics including climate change impacts, marine litter, public health preparedness, and community resilience. Previous roles include Senior Director of Public Health Preparedness and Resilience at NACCHO, where Tanya increased project funding by 25%, and Chief of Operations at the US Global Change Research Program, securing an $8.1M budget amidst Federal cuts. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University, an MPH in Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in Environmental and Forestry Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
