Andrew Hider is president and chief executive officer of Baxter International Inc., and a member of the Baxter Board.
Hider assumed his current responsibilities at Baxter in August 2025. Under Hider's leadership, Baxter continues to be everywhere healthcare happens, powered by Baxter's Mission to Save and Sustain Lives and vision to redefine healthcare delivery.
Hider brings 25 years of cross-industry experience and global expertise, a growth orientation and an operationally focused, people-centric leadership approach to Baxter. Before joining Baxter, Hider served since 2017 as CEO and a director of ATS Corporation, an industry-leading automation solutions provider for multinational customers in markets including life sciences, food and beverage, transportation, consumer products, and energy.
Hider previously served as president and CEO of the Taylor Made Group, LLC. Before Taylor Made, he spent 10 years at Danaher Corporation in various leadership roles, including as president of Veeder-Root. Hider began his career with General Electric Co. in 2000, concluding his six-year tenure as president and general manager of GE Tri-Remanufacturing.
Hider serves as a member of the board of Tennant Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary engineering and management and an MBA from Clarkson University.
