Mahesh Chaubal

Mahesh Chaubal serves as the Vice President of Research & Development at Baxter International Inc., overseeing global R&D for Pharmaceuticals since May 2002, along with a role as Vice President of Product Quality focusing on risk management and quality engineering for drugs, devices, and disposables. Additionally, Mahesh has been the Senior Director of Research & Development and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago since June 2010, where responsibilities include facilitating specialized courses. As the founder of Drugdel.com from 1999 to 2008, Mahesh established an online resource for drug delivery information. Earlier experience includes serving as a Development Scientist at Guilford Pharmaceuticals, focusing on formulation development and drug delivery technologies. Mahesh holds a Ph.D. in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has completed an executive education program in Finance for Executives at Kellogg.
