Matthias Roeckl

Matthias Roeckl is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in journalism, production, and broadcasting. Since January 2012, Matthias has owned IFILMNY.COM, while concurrently working as a freelance journalist and TV producer for ARD since 2015. With a long-standing position at Bayerischer Rundfunk since 1997, Matthias researches, develops, and produces stories for television and hosts the monthly podcast "OMG - The NYC Radio Show." Additionally, Matthias contributes as a freelance radio reporter for various organizations and has produced video campaigns for the American Heart Association. Previous roles include camera operator for Deutsche Welle and ORF, as well as media production for Dentsu Network and Mercedes Benz. Matthias's educational background includes studies at Berklee College of Music and the School of Visual Arts.
