Emily Lionis, LL.M. is an experienced legal professional with a focus on maritime law, evidenced by a Master of Laws degree with distinction from City, University of London. Emily has held various positions, including Senior Contracts Manager and Contracts Manager at BB Energy, and served as a legal officer for the Hellenic Flag Liaison in the South East Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions at DNV GL - Maritime. Previous roles include Attorney-at-Law at A. Lionis & Associates-Attorneys at Law, involvement in the legal department at Diana Shipping Inc., and experience in public relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. Additionally, Emily studied law through an Erasmus Scholarship at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
