Malia Allen is a Program Manager for Evaluation and Impact at Beacon Communities LLC, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Malia served in various capacities within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from June 2017 to January 2023, including Director of Policy and Program Performance, Director of Eviction Diversion Initiatives, Deputy Director of Policy and Strategy, Policy Director for the Office of the Assistant Majority Leader, and Research Director and Analyst for the Joint Committee on Economic Development & Emerging Technologies. Malia's earlier experience includes working as a paralegal at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP from August 2015 to June 2017 and as a Research Assistant and Research Fellow at Boston College from September 2013 to May 2015. Malia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Islamic Civilization & Society from Boston College (2011-2015) and is currently enrolled at the School for International Training.
