Killian O'Brien

Killian O'Brien is an experienced UX engineer currently serving as a Staff UX Engineer at BD since March 2021, having previously advanced through roles as a Senior UX Engineer and UX Engineer. Prior to BD, Killian worked as a Design and Innovation Strategist in an independent capacity from August 2018 to March 2021, focusing on workshops that explored strategies to enhance patient experience and health and well-being. Earlier experience includes roles as a Lean Six Sigma Engineer and Medical Design Engineer at Molex from June 2014 to July 2018, and a Design Technician Intern at Modular Automation in the summer of 2012. Killian holds a Postgraduate degree in Design for Innovation Strategy from IED Barcelona, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, and an Associate diploma in Graphic Design from the Dublin Institute of Design.
